The Stotherm is a fully automatic low energy electric resistance holding furnace for aluminium which has been developed with co- operation be- between foundry men and electronic/ refactory experts.

The furnace body is of robust welded steel construction lined with high quality isulation materials. The refactory in contact with metal has a high resistance to aluminium oxide formation.

Height adjustment of the complete assembly is by means fo support legs fitted with jacking screws.

Major consideration has been given to functional design and very low power consumption.

Special pre- shaped STOTEK block elements, well know for their robust construction, long life and reliability are fitted as standard.

Element replacement, If necessary, is executed from the side of the furnace by removing the lid.

To facilitate unobstructed access for inspection and cleaning, the entire top of the furnace can be removed using built in hydraulic pump.

the well - mounted control panel is fitted with easily readable instruments which enable precise and effective control of the metal temperature. An alarm is included for open circuit or in- correctly connected temperature sensors.
